Eighty-two out of the two hundred and fifty (250) Chibok girls that were abducted sometime in 2014, have been set free by their abductors; Boko Haram.
The 82 girls were released after the Federal government negotiated with the Islamist group. The 82 girls are currently in Banki town of Borno state awaiting an airlift to a non-disclosed destination.
The girls will be debriefed immediately after undergoing psychological tests, medical tests. Then, they will be reunited with their various families once they are settled in a secured location.
