The Duke of Cambridge video called Lady Gaga from Kensington Palace as part of his Heads Together campaign

Prince William and Lady Gaga have talked over FaceTime and made plans to meet in October in a bid to tackle the stigma surrounding mental health.

As part of his Heads Together campaign, the second in line to the throne had a casual and relaxed conversation with popstar Lady Gaga – real name Steffani Germanotta – via video call to discuss what they could do about the issue.

William, 34, was at home in Kensington Palace in the UK, while Gaga, 31, was drinking tea in the kitchen of her Hollywood home during the chat, which was filmed and uploaded to Kensington Palace’s official Twitter account.

They both seemed equally thrilled to be meeting one another
